WeWork delayed it’s IPO and I listened to The Highwomen’s debut album. Both are endlessly entertaining but for different reasons. As your doctor, I advise you to spend time on the latter, not the former.

The key takedown (and all you really need to read on the subject) is Scott Galloway’s WeWTF. Incidentally those posts come out as a newsletter every Friday, do yourself a favor and subscribe.

The hubris inherent in an organization that talks about itself as a “conscious company” is enough to make a Burner choke on a week’s supply of mushrooms. This double-rainbow collective hallucination has finally taken the last necessary length of proverbial rope and strung itself up for all to see.

Matt Levine was also quite funny on the subject (per usual). He says he feels a bit bad about mocking them now that the IPO has been pulled. I…don’t. At some point someone will write the Super-Pumped about this company and expose it for the narcissistic farce it always was.

In the interim…
